1st Tambourine Bay Sea Scouts invites you to participate in Lachlan and Tim’s 3 day Peak Award Adventurous Journey hike along the Great North Walk from Friday, the 9th of October to Sunday, the 11th of October! Come with us from Hornsby to Cowan via Crosslands Reserve along a route that passes right along Berowra Creek.
Starting at Artarmon Station on the 9th of October at about 7:30am we’ll catch the train up to Hornsby. Once we reach Hornsby we’ll walk along the streets for a bit before reaching the bush track. From there we’ll trek along Berowra Creek, through Galston Gorge before arriving at Crosslands Reserve. On day 2 we’ll set off from Crosslands Reserve to Ridge Top Campground. Finally on day 3 we’ll go from Ridge Top Campground to Cowan Station. Once at Cowan Station we’ll wait for a train to Hornsby Station, once there we’ll change to a suburban train before finally arriving at Artarmon on the 11th of October.
