1st Tambourine Bay Sea Scouts

Located in the peaceful Tambourine Bay at Riverview, alongside the Lane Cove River, the 1st Tambo Sea Scouts have been congregating here since 1960.

With a full Scout program of children from Joeys and Cubs, through to the Scouts and Venturers, every child is encouraged to learn, have fun and do their best.

As we are blessed with a Scout hall on the river, we have a large focus on water-based activities and have access to sailing boats, kayaks, canoes and powered watercraft. Being based so close to Lane Cove National Park, other very popular elements of our program include camping, bushcraft, environmental care, life skills and contributing to our community.

Our Scouts participate in many local, regional, state, national and international events such as Scout Hike, State Rally, Cuboree and both Australian and International Jamborees. This is made possible through our fundraising efforts and our biggest annual fundraiser is our Christmas tree sales which happen in December each year.

Lane Cove is on Cammeraygal land and we acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land on which we live and play.
